Nick Love
Neil Primett of Planet Clothing 93 ltd / 80s Casual Classics has been fortunate enough to play a special part in the making of this film, with his own 80's nut - Neil Primett getting the role of Style Consultant. Neil reports: "Nick Love had paid his respects to our site and ebay vintage rarities in making a few purchases. Clearly his film The Business had brought the memories flooding back to many casuals and was a key reason why this site exists. After 3-4 years on with many of us now hitting our 40s, the talks are much clearer - Terrindas, Settantas, Dallas, Sergio, Fila, Ellesse, Lois, Diadora, wimbledons, internationlist, Benetton rugby, Farah, ski jackets, roll necks , tanks tops, sleeveless tracks, Kickers. When asked to acquire Nick Love his own vintage Red Terrinda early 2008; a day later a chance ebay chat with a major Terrinda nut saw a meet with a Birmingham casual on The M1 with £750 cash and a pro badge Red Bj was Nicks. A further show of respect a cup of tea & some collectors Business pieces including a Tamer Navy Terrinda or 2!! Next we were back with a French Blue Terrinda and official news of a deal and The Firm being Nick's next production and could we assist... F**k YES!!! Nick clearly still had some 80s left in him and was planning to remake The Firm set early 80s with even greater need for casual clothing than The Business, a good few months of late nights on ebay, much research, many chats with UK collectors to offer up their collections and a wardrobe was born. Many thanks to Gary C, Jason R, Jimmy P and Mark Wise." Here are some some great Sergio Tacchini items that were photographed stock used in THE FIRM, and some shots of the movie's wardrobe.
